Paula's style is to help each student journalist get what THEY want from the course. Each student has at least three tutorials with Paula during their 14 weeks.
"I think some students treat me like their Mum, others like a scary editor..."

Paula's Career Highlights...
"As ITN Science Producer (9 years), I produced a whole series on the "Information Superhighway", as the internet was first known, and had the first internet connection in the building! I produced the series with Science Editor Lawrence McGinty, who is still there...
My official claim to fame on my CV is winning a Royal Television Society award for producing a TV piece on drugs in the Olympics. But at the time I was more proud of interviewing Paul McCartney and Diana, Princess of Wales on the telly.
I have worked for local newspapers, local radio, BBC Nine O'clock News and ITN's News at Ten.
I am able to guide students around all the different media they can work in. I'm a good example of how with an NCTJ qualification you can do well, taking you all sorts of places."
