Nicki has been writing Teeline shorthand for over 20 years and is a real enthusiast. She has been teaching trainee journalists in the South East for the past ten years and has also worked with reporters from national and local press including The Times, Daily Mirror, Kent & Sussex Courier and The Argus.

Nicki, what is your style of teaching?

Relaxed and fun (with a constant eye on the end goal). Shorthand can be a hugely daunting skill to learn but a friendly atmosphere, innovative ideas, plenty of encouragement and having a laugh go a long way!
