One minute she is a teacher, the next minute Rosie Blunt is working for Auntie. This is how our July 2017 part-time graduate broke the news to the BJW team that she had been accepted on the BBC Journalism Trainee Scheme:

“I just wanted to write to say thank you for what truly has been the best decision I ever made, and share some news with you.

“So that is why doing the NCTJ with BJW has been the best thing I’ve ever done. You have given me all the skills, experience, but most importantly, inspiration and confidence, to do what I have always wanted to do. I was really dubious this time last year- I didn’t know why I was doing the course or what my end goal was at all. I just knew from my limited experience that I loved journalism. But all your inspiration, talent, expertise, amazing teaching and wonderful support has pushed me that extra bit further to achieve what I always dreamed of but never thought possible.”
