Fast track NCTJ Certificate in Journalism (Sub-editing)

This journalism course aims to equip students with the nationally accredited qualifications necessary to apply for a job as a multi-skilled journalist, in particular as a sub-editor, on newspapers, magazines and online.

Part time Diploma in Sub-editing

This journalism course is for people who are already writers or journalists who want to add sub-editing to their skills. It takes place every Saturday for ten weeks and leads to the NCTJ sub-editing exam, a nationally recognised qualification.

Successful Freelance Photography – starting date TBA

Run by Brighton Journalist Works in partnership with The University of Sussex.

Take our intensive six-week course and you will have the knowledge and skills to work as a professional freelance photographer.  You will learn  with professional press photographers on site and on the picture desk and put up your first shop window in the form of your own website. Above all, you will learn how to get the shot and maximise the income from it.
