OUR AWARD WINNNING JOURNALISTS

Our journalism tutors offer many decades of real-world experiences. They pass on knowledge and experience and our students are winning awards nationally.

NCTJ's "Top Scoop" for the past 2 years!

Award-Winning Journalist Juliet Conway - "Top Scoop" - 2009

20 year old Juliet uncovered a story about a medical student at Sussex University, who died after taking the drug GBL. The drug was bought legally over the internet.

I was amazed even to be short-listed, but when I found out I won, I was over the moon. I got the scoop during my first week of the course.

The story was on the front page of The Argus the following day. It was all very surreal, but this award has really been the icing on the cake."

Award-Winning Journalist Steven Kelly - "Top Scoop" - 2008

Alan Rusbridger (Editor of The Guardian) was among the elite panel, choosing Steven's expose on the transport of toxic waste, published in The News of The World.

I feel proud to say I'm now an award-winning journalist and that would not be possible had I not enrolled on the course.
